What we clean, area by area
Every home is a little different, so think of this list as a guide to what a typical post construction visit covers. Tell us your priorities and we'll adjust.
- Showers, tubs and toilets cleaned inside and out
- Mirrors cleaned
- Porcelain rinsed and polished
- Chrome fixtures polished
- Floors hand-mopped
- Appliances cleaned inside and out
- Cabinets cleaned inside and out
- Countertops and sinks cleaned
- Floor damp-mopped
- All carpet vacuumed, including wall edges
- Heating and cooling vents vacuumed
- Window tracks vacuumed and cleaned
- Window frames and sills cleaned, paint and plaster removed
- Doors, frames and baseboards cleaned
- Thresholds cleaned
- Outlet covers wiped
- Chandeliers and light fixtures wiped
- Water heater and other dusty surfaces wiped
- Stickers and labels removed from windows, toilets, tubs and kitchen
- Garage swept and/or vacuumed
- Driveway swept
Each project is different. For larger jobs we're happy to do an in-person walk-through before quoting.
What we don't do
For safety and insurance reasons, these tasks aren't part of any service:
- Biohazard cleanup (blood, bodily fluids, heavy mold, animal waste)
- Organizing or clearing heavy clutter
- Washing walls
- Anything higher than a 2-ft step ladder and extension pole can reach
- Cleaning light bulbs or fragile light fixtures
- Lifting items heavier than 40 lbs
- Exterior windows (we are happy to refer you to a window specialist)
